Ariella Berliner Youth Department of Shaare Tefillah

At Shaare Tefillah, we are proud of the vibrant array of youth programming and services offered to the community. Our Youth Department is staffed by warm/energetic group leaders and assisted by an active Youth Committee.
Typical programs include:
    •    Weekly Shabbat morning Youth Groups
    •    Special Events around the Chagim
    •    Parent-child Learning
…and much much more!

Raizel Littwin and Dina Schiowitz will also be running all youth programming and events. They will be joining forces to train, schedule, and oversee our youth group leaders and ensure Shabbat morning groups run smoothly and meaningfully for our children and families. Raizel and Dina will work in partnership with the Youth Board Liaisons, similar to the way that we have done in the past years. They will be splitting Shabbatot so that one of them is overseeing groups each Shabbat.

Raizel Littwin has been living in Teaneck for the past 20 years. She went to Maayanot for high school, Shaalvim for a year and a half, then went to Touro where she majored in psychology, and is currently in Wurzweiler getting her Masters in social work. Raizel has been working for NCSY as an advisor for the past three years as well as coaching the Maayanot soccer team. She also worked as a counselor in Camp Regesh for multiple summers. Raizel is very excited to be joining the Shaare Tefillah family.

Dina has been at Shaare Tefillah for the past 20 years, both as a group attendee and leader! She went to Bruriah for high school and then spent a year and a half at MMY in Israel. She enjoyed three years at Camp Dina as both a counselor and Division Head, and worked as a counselor at Michelelet NCSY for the past two summers. She is currently attending Stern College, majoring in Psychology.
