Membership:
The Board of Directors has kept membership dues flat for the 2010 fiscal year. Full Membership remains at $600 with a $5,000 building fund commitment per family payable over 5 years. Associate Membership remains at $325.

Despite economic conditions, 2009 was a successful fundraising year. As such, we have been able to put a substantial amount of money into a separate capital account for our planned construction.

It is our goal to submit our revised construction plans to the Teaneck Board of Adjustment in the next few months in order to obtain the necessary variances and building permits to move our project forward. At the same time, we will be kicking off our capital campaign to start raising the necessary money to construct the building we need.

Now more than ever, it is time for the entire Congregation to come together and help make this vision a reality. Whether it’s fundraising, volunteering on a committee, or a combination of the two, we urge you to get involved. We can’t do it without you.

Community Elections:
Two very important elections are coming up locally.  There will be elections for the local Boards of Education on Tuesday - April 20th and for the Teaneck Township Council on Tuesday - May 11th.

These two bodies are responsible for about 90% of our real estate taxes, and these elections will shape the future of our community and its quality of life.

The deadline for voter registration is March 29th (Erev Pesach).  If you are not registered to vote, please register by printing out a form at www.njelections.org/form_pdf/09-voter-regis-forms/bergen-voter-reg-form-080309.pdf .  All individuals who will be 18 years old on or before April 20th are eligible to vote and this is a great opportunity to make sure all household members are properly registered.
